Prevention Specialist – Blue Springs, MS

ProgressiveHealth is seeking a full-time Prevention Specialist to join our outstanding team of professionals to provide injury prevention and management to the industrial athletes at a local automotive manufacturer in Blue Springs, MS. This open position is for Night Shift, Monday through Thursday.  Training will take place Monday - Friday on day shift for one month. This position is a temporary position, guaranteed for at least 6 months and with the chance to turn into a permanent position!  This is a great opportunity for a new graduate wanting to learn a specialized industry.

• Proactive prevention
• Early symptom intervention
• Case management
• Ergonomic program support
• Increase the workforce’s ability to perform their job duties safely and decrease risk of injury

 Ideal candidate will:

• Engage with the workforce
• Have strong attention to detail
• Be dependable and willing to help
• Be willing and able to work a night shift schedule. Monday - Thursday.

 Education and training required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Exercise/Sports Science, Health Promotions or related field.
• CPR certification
