Compliance Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced recertification specialist for property-based Section 8/LIHTC apartment complexes. He/she is responsible for conducting him/herself in a professional manner, following HUD/LIHTC regulations, and maintaining organized paper and electronic records. Ideal Candidate must be a team player who is able to meet goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing of residential lease renewals, annual recertifications, and interim certifications.
Create and maintain accurate resident files and records per company policies.
Preparing property for agency inspections

Requirements:
Two years’ experience in property-based section 8/LIHTC
Be organized and goal driven
Travel throughout Kansas City and Topeka area regularly
Occasional overnight travel in KS and MO
Have experience with RealPage Onesite software
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
