Job Announcement Position: Administrative Executive

LOCATION: Franklin County Emergency Management Office

SALARY: Starting at $4,487/ month

REPORTS TO: FCEM Director

Job Purpose and Summary

Responsible for the administrative and fiscal functions of Franklin County Emergency Management (FCEM). Performs a variety of complex accounting, program and grant/program management functions. This is a multifaceted position which includes, but is not limited to, the following duties: Payroll, accounts receivable/payable/auditing, inventory control, program management, emergency planning, volunteer recruitment and Emergency Coordination Center response. Provides administrative and confidential support to the Director of Emergency Management.

Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in emergency management, business, public administration, or related field; or a two year degree with four or more years of progressively responsible office administrative experience, preferably in a governmental office setting. At least two years of accounting/auditing experience; program management; or other experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge and ability required to perform the work.

Licenses, Certificates & Other Requirements:

Successful completion of a criminal history background check. Have a valid driver's license and an insured vehicle for use to perform work related business/tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook programs.. Subject to call-out 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week and carry a cell phone. Ability to work evenings and weekends, if necessary.
