BOROUGH OF SPRINGDALE

FULL TIME POLICE OFFICER

The Borough of Springdale, Allegheny County, is accepting applications for the position(s) of FULL-TIME police officer through December 2, 2022. Applications are available at the Borough of Springdale Municipal Building, 325 School Street Springdale, Pa.15144, M-F, between 8AM to 4PM, photo ID required. Completed applications must be turned in by 4:00 pm on December 2, 2022.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.

Possess a high school diploma or a graduate equivalency diploma (GED).

Be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer.

Possess a valid driver’s license.

Be Pennsylvania Act 120 certified or have successfully completed training and passed or be able to pass the final Mpoetc Act 120 exam prior to employment.

A Physical Agility test as well as a written exam will be administered. The applicant will be notified of the date/time.

A non-refundable application fee of $25.00 is due upon pickup of application in the form of a check, cash or money order.
