Wayne State College is seeking an IT Technician (Network Operations).
Work in a collaborative environment with a team of IT professionals, contributing your experience and expertise to accomplish the strategic IT goals of Wayne State College. Performs a variety of professional duties in support of the day-to-day operations of the Network and Technology Services (NATS) department. Provides tier 2 troubleshooting of related technologies for incidents not resolved during first point of contact at the tier 1 Service Center. Assists Network Operations team members with daily operational activities supporting existing technical services provided to the campus community. Focus will include activities within, but not limited to, the campus id card system, residence life room management system, identity access management system, campus phone system, campus data reporting system, network infrastructure IDF management, software packaging and distribution, and inventory management.

This is a full-time staff position within the Network Operations team in the Network and Technology Services (NATS) Department. This position collaborates daily with NATS team members, vendors, campus employees and students. Activities performed by this position include but are not limited to the following below.
