This is an outpatient clinical dietitian position working in the Dialysis Unit.

This position possesses competent skills to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) & apply the nutrition care process to patient care. The person has competent skills to evaluate and recommend nutrition needs based on the specific combined objective/subjective information required for a clinical nutrition assessment. Requires analytical skills to assess the condition of patients and provide appropriate interventions. Exhibits appropriate & effective communication/interpersonal skills to effectively work with patients, families, physicians and other health care professionals.

Bachelor Degree RD - Dietitian - Registered Completion of an ACEND accredited Supervised Practice Program.

Prefer 3 year experience working as a clinical dietitian in a health care facility (Supervised Practice Program counts as experience). Maintain a minimum 15 Continuing Education units per year.

Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration at date of hire. Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio at date of hire. Must remain in good standing with both accrediting boards.

Person needs experience working with the pediatric population.
