| Job Summary: | Under the direction of the Deputy Director for Perioperative Services, the Assistant Director of Nursing for Perioperative Services assumes responsibility and accountability for planning, organizing and overseeing the 5E, 3N and 550 Harrison Operating Rooms reporting through Perioperative Services. Specific duties include management and evaluation of clinical operations, customer and staff satisfaction, quality management, standards, certification and accreditation activities, professional practice activities, nursing staff education, and developing community relationships. |

| Minimum Qualifications: |
NYS licensed/registered R.N, Bachelors degree in Nursing or Masters degree in Nursing plus a minimum of 5 years management experience to include 3 years of current Perioperative/Operating Room experience plus excellent written/oral communication, leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills required. CPR-BLS certification required by time of appointment. |
| Preferred Qualifications: |
Master's Degree preferred. Experience in managing a perioperative/operating room setting preferred. |
