Horticulture Lucas Greenhouses, Monroeville, NJ now hiring 45 temporary Greenhouse Order Pullers/Movers to work in Gloucester County, NJ from February 26, 2018 to 5/31/2018. Hourly wage of $12.05. Perform manual labor to space and continuously move potted plants from greenhouses to final indoor and outdoor growing areas by hand and machine. Prepare outdoor growing areas by setting up irrigation drip tape; laying, repairing and cleaning plastic; removing debris and weeds by hand and using gardening tools; and spacing plants at designated intervals. Locate, select, prepare, tag and load plants onto wagons, racks and trucks for shipping. Work requires extensive lifting, carrying and loading of up to 40 lbs., walking, standing, bending, stooping, and pushing and pulling carts weighing up to 300 pounds.

Work may be in inclement weather including extreme heat, cold and/or rain. One month of verifiable greenhouse experience required. Three quarters of an average of 50 hours/week guaranteed. Tools, supplies and equipment provided at no cost. Housing provided at no cost if outside commuting area. If applicable, transportation and subsistence expense to the job will be paid upon completion of 50% of the employment period, or earlier.
