Qualified Medical Professional

Community Behavioral Health Center is seeking to contract with a Qualified Medical Professional licensed in Washington State to practice under chapter 18.57 or 18.71 RCW, and is board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry. Eligible candidates are either a Physician who is licensed to practice under chapter 18.57, 18.71 RCW, and is board certified or board eligible in psychiatry, A Psychiatric Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) and is board certified or board eligible in psychiatry or Physician assistant working with a supervising psychiatrist. Contractor will provide medical direction and Psychiatric medication Services as described under Washington Administrative Code 246-341-0712 to support behavioral health care provided in Adams County. This contracted position would provide Psychiatric medication services 2 days a month and provide phone consultations on an as need basis to Behavioral Health care employees. Psychiatric Medication Services" is defined as, "a variety of activities related to prescribing and/or administering medication, including monitoring an individual for side effects and changes as needed. Our agency is a progressive Mental Health Center with counselors carrying a diverse caseload including children, adults and geriatric clients. Compensation is negotiable.
