The Recovery Coach Supervisor strives to provide community-based care to individuals with substance use issues, helping them to engage in the recovery process, increase their recovery capital and connect to the supports and resources they need. In this position, the Recovery Coach Supervisor leads, trains, and supports a team of Recovery Coaches and ensures that high-quality care is provided to the individuals we serve.  The Recovery Coach Supervisor assists with the development, implementation, and management of recovery coaching initiatives, and facilitates collaboration with internal and external services providers to meet individuals’ needs.

The Recovery Coaching program at Behavioral Health Network is a community-based peer support program for adults who experience substance use issues. The program provides services to anyone desiring recovery, regardless of insurance or ability to pay.

Job Requirements

The Recovery Coach Supervisor at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills, interest in helping others engage in recovery.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of recovery support services including but not limited to peer based recovery supports.
  • Completion of the 30 hour Recovery Coach Academy training by BSAS approved provider (required).
  • Completion of the Recovery Coach Supervisor training by a BSAS approved provider (required).
  • At least 2 years experience working with individuals in recovery from substance use disorders (required).
  • At least 2 years of abstinence from substance use (required).
  • Lived experience of recovery (required).
  • Previous supervisory experience (strongly preferred).
  • Completion of CADAC program (preferred).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable, registered vehicle (required).
