Looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health challenges? Join our team as a Triage and Assessment Clinician for our CBHI program at Behavioral Health Network!

The Triage and Assessment Clinician provides master’s level triage for referrals of youth serving programs and conducts comprehensive assessments for youth referred to CBHI services as requested by programs.

As a Triage and Assessment Clinician, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care to individuals in need of mental health services. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, and supporting the triage needs of the youth and family outreach programs to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Your experience, knowledge and great skills will support the CBHI program with the following:

  • Providing community-based and telehealth comprehensive behavioral health assessments and diagnostic assessments to youth.
  • Assessing for risk and safety needs for triage calls and while conducting assessment and takes appropriate actions to keep youth and others safe.
  • Conducting triage calls to youth and families for CBHI programs and maintains documentation as required by program specifications.
  • Submitting progress notes, comprehensive assessments, referral documents and other agency required documents, on time and in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Working closely with CBHI managers, central intake department, and billing department to ensure adequate communication regarding triage and eligibility.

What are we looking for in a Triage and Assessment Clinician?

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in a license-eligible behavioral health field required.
  • Must be CANS-MA certified.
  • Must have knowledge of mental illness/SED as manifested in children and adolescents as well as knowledge of treatment techniques.
  • Must have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license and automobile available for all working hours.
