This Anesthesia Technician position is responsible for setting up specialized anesthesia equipment not assigned to operating rooms and trouble shooting all anesthesia equipment even during patient use. Responsible for setting up and trouble shooting specialized equipment. Responsible for stocking all operating rooms and anesthesia areas, cleaning anesthesia machines, equipment and anesthesia work area through out day. Assist Anesthesia staff with nerve blocks, cell savers, central lines, and other equipment. Knowledge of operating room environment helpful.

• High School Equivalent / GED
• Ability to walk, lifting of 30 lb. monitors, and moving of heavy anesthesia machines.
• Knowledgeable of basic mechanical and electrical tools as well as remain knowledgeable of machines and monitors utilized in the operating room.
• Familiarity with Anesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Good interpersonal skills communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
