contractor in the Auburn/Opelika area.
We specialize in commercial, industrial, and residential developments.
Hudmon is currently seeking an
experienced Fleet Manager, Mechanic/Heavy Equipment Mechanic,
and Operators.

The Fleet Manager is responsible for leading a team of drivers to transport company goods efficiently. Their duties include
creating work schedules for drivers,
scheduling pickup and delivery for materials hauled, scheduling regular maintenance for vehicles and equipment, managing licensure and registration for driver's and vehicles, haul billing, and ensuring driver candidates receive proper training to uphold safe
driving standards.

The Mechanic is expected to perform
diagnostics and repair of machinery and
vehicles, travel between job sites with sense of urgency, responsible for ordering parts and maintaining equipment. The mechanic will also be expected to perform scheduled maintenance, complete daily paperwork, and work independently with extreme accuracy and careful attention to detail. Qualifications for this position include but are not limited to, minimum of 3 years'
experience. A CDL is preferred but not required. Candidate should have knowledge of complex hydraulics, electrical, computer, mechanical systems, as well as arc and acetylene welding. Mechanic must understand general safety practices.

The Equipment generally operated are bull dozers, excavators, loaders, motor graders, skid steers, and rollers. Operators are responsible for driving and/or operating heavy equipment. Operator must maintain equipment on a daily basis to ensure proper functioning and safety. Operators are expected to perform general construction work including physical labor. Qualifications for position include but are not limited to, preferably 2-5 years operating experience, must understand general safety practices.

Candidates must have transportation and must be able to pass a drug test. Hudmon Construction has a summer schedule of 6 days a week 10-12 hours a day.
Paid time and a half over 40 hours.
Pay depends on experience.
