Product Manager V, Software Applications positions available at SE2, LLC in Topeka, Kansas.

Job Duties:

Responsible for analyzing, designing, and modifying/enhancing new software application systems for SE2 proprietary software using scientific analysis and mathematical modeling to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of software design. Analyze information to assist in determining software product delivery and deployment plan for new product releases, feature and maintenance releases and regular corrective service or service pack releases; prepare reports/correspondence concerning project specifications, activities, and status for software/product delivery. Acts as a technical consultant to the software product organization and leads research, and prototyping of innovative technologies and products. Consult with customers and other departments on project status, proposals, and technical issues, such as software system design and maintenance. Confer with cross-functional team of software engineers, analysts, management to design systems to ensure fulfillment of software product requirements, evaluate software product performance standards, and transition products from development to commercialization. Train users/customers on technical issues related to product integration, custom development and requirements. Lead major releases and ensure feature enhancements respond to customer requests. Responsible for product delivery managing schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development, including analyzing user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Ensure the technology and architectural roadmap of engineering is properly aligned with and supports the product/business road map.

Minimum Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or related field.

Minimum Experience Requirement:
4 years’ experience in product management or business analysis utilizing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Travel Requirement:
Will travel up to 20% to other SE2 locations throughout the United States and unanticipated client sites, if needed.
