Part Time * Monday - Friday * 5 1/2 hours per day * Carson City

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High school or equivalent

* Childcare experience preferred

* Minimum 18 years old

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

* Ability to complete required trainings within 120 days of hire

* TB test before first day of employment

* The ability to work effectively with our team

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

* Compatibility with our organization's mission, philosophy & goals

* Supervising children

* Assisting teacher with lessons & projects

* Assisting with set up & clean up

* Communication with director, teacher & students

* Maintain continuing education as required by the state of Nevada

* Other related duties as needed

St. Teresa of Avila Child Development Center is a non-profit agency serving children and families in northern Nevada since 2009. We maintain an excellent reputation in Carson City for early childhood development. We are affiliated with St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School and are located on the same campus. The purpose of St. Teresa of Avila Child Development Center is to foster spiritual, social/emotional, academic, and physical child development for our students. We have designed a curriculum and daily schedule which will have reachable goals for each child admitted into our program.  We serve children aged 3-5 in a safe, faith-filled environment.
