DIRECTOR OF NURSING

We are looking for a Director of Nursing who is committed to providing exceptional care to residents in a faith-based environment with excellent leadership and team building skills. The Director of Nursing will lead this growth by fostering relationships and team work with innovative solutions to enrich the quality of residents’ lives.

Responsibilities/Duties - The Director of Nursing is responsible for the administration of assigned nursing units including policy development, organizational planning and the direction of the delivery of geriatric nursing care, as well as the development and monitoring of standards of geriatric nursing practices. Also promotes public relations, education and consultation with assigned units.

Qualifications and Skills - To reach these goals, candidates must be a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio with a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, have experience as a DON in a long-term care nursing center and have knowledge of electronic documentation.
