Code Enforcement Officer / Inspector 

The Township of Falls is seeking a team player for a full-time position as a Building Inspector / Code Enforcement Officer. The candidate will report directly to the Chief Code Enforcement Officer. The primary responsibilities will be enforcement of Township ordinances and construction inspections. Zoning & floodplain administrator experience would be a plus. Applicants must have excellent communication skills with the public and contractors. Working knowledge of the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code and the International Codes are required.

The applicant must have a minimum of three certifications recognized by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry as a construction inspector. Certified Residential Combination Inspector preferred. The applicant must have excellent computer skills and the ability to keep accurate records. The applicant must possess and maintain a valid drivers license.

The candidate will be subject to a background check and drug and alcohol test. The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary plus an excellent benefits package.
